Anniversary Planning

So I was thinking that on the 10th of march which is the anniversary of this alliances creation that we should do some sort of alliance wide event or something, Example being a Kralove opening and run throughs for participating members for achieves and such, or a series of dungeon runs for needing members, this is just an idea and open for opinions if anyone else thinks is a good idea.

I think it would be a nice way to bring the alliance together as I myself has been here for that whole year, so would like to see something special to happen Let me know your opinions for this and any ideas you have and celebrate in style

Good suggestions already, but I might aswell add to the list: how about a quiz game for prizes? Or a 'who can kill the scarecrow the fastest' competition, could even have PvP tournament if someone were to organise it.

We're starting to run out of time, but it seems most think that a PvP tournament is the way to go!
A PvP tournament has never occurred in our year-long history, so let's make it a good one if we do! For info, this was a PvP tournament that was planned but never went ahead (Click Here).
Furthermore, the successful competitors might also want to join the 'Convergencer PvPers' team.
I feel a PvP tournament would receive widespread support by alliance members as well, but we'd need to formulate rules first, suggestions?

EDIT: It could probably be made in time but I think it would be a bit too stressful and would need more thought put into it. I'm +1 for a kralove opening/dungeon running though

I think a PvP tournament could work but it would take some serious organizing and commitment from folks to make it happen. Personally, I know I'll likely be busy on the actual anniversary day because I teach on Tuesdays, but can possibly help with things that need to be organized beforehand. We could run some trivia though

Secondly the PvP tournament might be a good idea but as stated it is difficult to set up and does involve the competitors to show up and considering time zones also is a factor
Another factor being the people who are not endgame levels being dominated and also the non PvPers.
Where as dungeons anyone can do so I am fine for either one and ready to put the effort in.

10th of march is a Tuesday ... iam not sure if this day is ok for some ali action (maintenance etc.) ...weekend 14-15 will be better i think

10th of March is approaching and I don't see anything is happening atm. In my opinion, I think we should organise something on the day of our anniversary (even though it's unfortunate that it's a Tuesday). Other events can be organised at a later date, and I'd personally be happy to assist with organising a PvP tournament soon-ish to celebrate our year-long existence since many people have expressed the want for one.

From the comments so far, I think a kralove opening has been the most popular choice (besides a pvp tournament) for the activity to occur on the 10th, but I have my doubts whether it will be opened or not...are we still supporting a kralove opening on a Tuesday or should we go with options like house parties/dungeon running?

EDIT: what about a party in the middle of bonta arena where we all gather and plant random souls and anyone can join? A 'soul party'.

A soul party could be be really fun, I like the idea, I might have some double royal gobbal+arch souls left from an event made by Izmar a while ago.

I'm glad to hear this is getting support . I don't think it'll be too hard to organise as long as we make a time that is suitable for at least 2-3 council members to attend.

Anyone have an idea on a good time for the event to start? I'll make a new thread once we decide on the time.

Also, it might be better for the party to be held in Brakmar. I was thinking that we could have a soul party in the middle of the brak arena, and also a pvp party (challenges can be undertaken in this room, but souls don't work) in the room to the left of the entrance to the kolossium.

Since no one is replying, I think a good time to start is around 13:00 DUT. If there are no problems with this time I'll create the thread tomorrow ^^
