Feedback: What do you think of a dedicated site and forum?

I've worked in web development for a while with a few companies and I have the following templates and frameworks that I could change up to cater for the alliance.

The color scheme in the site/forum screenshots can be changed to any of the schemes linked. Try to mentally replace the stock/free-use images and such with Convergence/Dofus related media (:


It will come with a new framework I am working on that will take into account a form with the following (can be changed):

• Age:
  
• Play Preference: <social/hardcore>
  
• Time Zone:
  
• Number of characters (mult-accounting): <1-7>
  
• Group Preference: <PvP Only, Mature, Any>
  
• VOIP (voice chat): <Yes/No>
  

It will then run through an algorithm that matches you with players of similar interests to form a "Team" of 8 characters. Whether this is 8 solo players or two players with any combination of characters (2 alts + 6 alts, 3 + 3, e.t.c), it should work better than that horrid team search in-game as it provides a much more personable team with the possibility of new friends!

I will also be providing a 512 slot TeamSpeak server if this goes ahead. Current community is abhorring when it comes to communication. For instance the large scale Perc hunts and such would be much better if we could all communicate in real-time (especially if you are timing attacks on multiple percs).

The TS server is an awesome idea and I would be 100% behind that. I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to web development. So does this mean we'd all be moving to a different forum/site? If so the templates look good but would need to be definitely changed a bit to suit us. I am open to the idea to this :]

While I think that this site is fine with the current usage we are making of it, a dedicated TS server could be something really interesting for some people, I really like the idea
